"Meet Our Team"

Chris Pennington is a scholar of Classical Studies at Rutgers University. He has taken part in the NEH Summer Seminar and has spent several years in Rome. His research interests encompass the healing cult of Asklepius, archaic Greece, and the reception of classical works.

Christopher Pennington graduated from Seton Hall University and the post-baccalaureate program in Classics at Rutgers. He lived in Rome for years, designing tours of the city.​​ Chris participated in Julie's and Sean's Summer Institute for the National Endowment for the Humanities in 2022, and since then has been assisting with research with the Hercules Project, along with website design and generating ideas for project, papers, and services.
